A vietnamese piano player fond of french classical music meets a french đàn bầu player studying vietnamese music. The repertoire is made of essentially french classical songs played on this very flexible traditional instrument.
Recorded live and during rehearsals in Hà Nội during summer 2015. Tracks 1 to 11 were recorded at Cà Phê Trung Nguyễn. The two last tracks were recorded on the very nicely out of tune piano at Myriad café.
